Flex Your Cybernetic Writing Muscles

It’s been quite a busy week for me, but I wanted to share a short story competition put together by LitReactor. The submission and review period begins February 1st, with all stories being due on February 28th. One more month of review and then the winners are revealed on April 1st (that date scares me).

What’s the theme? Science Fiction. But not just any old sci-fi. Per the website, the story has to adhere to these three guidelines:

  • Explore a utopian/dystopian theme
  • Feature a technology that’s scientifically plausible
  • Feature a non-human character (what is a non-human? you tell us!)

Submissions must be between 1,500 and 4,000 words. I hope you guys will join me and Oliver in putting something together and sending it in.

Full details here.
