Weekly Recap – September 20th, 2013
I had a day off! Well, most of it anyway. More than I’ve had in three weeks and the reason for the tardiness of this post.
So what did I do with the time? A colleague mentioned the Strategic Air and Space Museum about thirty minutes out of town in Ashfield. The day was beautiful and the museum, a welcome distraction. Here are some photos:
The writer in me had to reserve this one its own special spot:

Speaking of typos and edits, Daughter of Fortitude is pretty close to done. I’m just sitting on it a few more days before rereading and making any minor edits prior to submission. Reception by my critique group has been great so far, so I’m hoping it’s just as well received by the publisher.
Tomorrow’s work will conclude my epic visit to Omaha. Assuming everything goes well, I’ll be back on a plane Tuesday morning for a much needed homecation.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Great pictures. looks like a good place to visit.
I’m happy to hear you had a much needed day off, Phillip. It looks like it was a great day! The Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. is a great way to spend the day as well. Enjoy your homecation next week!
I hope that day off refreshed you. I enjoyed looking at your photos! Congrats on finishing (or nearly finishing) your story.
Thanks Marie! Certainly refreshed a little and looking forward to some time off work this week – spending time with my wife, writing, and placating my video game addiction.
